Levera - Bathway Beach

Located on the northeast Atlantic coast, Levera provides a myriad of activities and sights for all types of visitors.  Bathway beach, lined with it’s tropical Coconut and Sea Grape trees, and pristine white beaches is truly paradise; take a delightful swim where the waves break over a natural offshore reef injecting bubbling Jacuzzi-like waters.  The protected seascape with its coral reefs, and sea-grass beds, shelters lobsters, conchs, and tropical fishes: a variety of rare marine life provides endless opportunities to immerse yourself in this rare ecosystem. An ancient volcanic crater (23 acres) has filled with a mixture of fresh and salt water creating Levera Pond; walk the trail circling the mangrove supporting rich bird and aquatic wildlife.  You can also walk out on the Bird-Watch Bridge, which extends out into the mangrove.  A visitor center is located at the entrance to the park providing guides and information.  Look into the distance and catch a glimpse of the neighboring Grenadine Islands.  Levera National Park is truly an experience not to be forgotten.
